McConnell Dowell has announced the successful completion of the northern package of the Healesville-Koo Wee Rup Road Upgrade Project, delivered for Major Road Projects Victoria.
The upgrades as part of the northern package include:
- An extra lane in each direction from Southeast Boulevard to Ellett Road
- New traffic lights at Greenhills Road
- Two new bridges over Deep Creek
- Two new roundabouts at Hall Road and Deep Creek South
- A new shared walking and cycling path
- Safety barriers along the road
These upgrades will support 21,000 vehicles daily, improving traffic flow and travel times, providing a safer and upgraded alternative north-south route for Pakenham South, and significantly reducing the risk of accidents.
