Following the safe and on-time completion of the Swanson Dock West Remediation Project – Stage 1, McConnell Dowell has been awarded the Stage 2 contract.
Stage 2 will focus on extending the design life of Swanson Dock West Berth 3 through a series of critical works, including:

Upgrading 50 tonne bollards to 100 tonne capacity

Concrete remediation

Sheet pile wall remediation

Installation of a new crane rail
These works will help ensure Swanson Dock West continues to operate safely and efficiently, supporting the flow of goods through one of Australia’s most important port facilities.
The project is scheduled to commence in September 2025, with completion targeted for late 2027.
